Meet Dr. Ketan Parekh, DDS

Dr. Parekh was raised in Pittsburg, Kansas and attended Pittsburg State University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  He received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Tennessee in 2003, graduating at the top of his class.

During his training, Dr. Parekh had the privilege of treating advanced surgical cases that included maxillofacial pathology, dentofacial deformities, and facial trauma.  Dr. Parekh has spent a considerable amount of time in anesthesiology, general surgery, trauma surgery, surgical intensive care, and internal medicine.  He brings a sound surgical foundation in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery to Rockwall Oral and Facial Surgery.  His interests lie in adult and pediatric anesthesia, dental implants, and dentoalveolar and orthognathic surgery.  He has completed 4 years of advanced specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at MetroHealth Medical Center and The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Currently, Dr. Parekh is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Rockwall Dental Society.  Dr. Parekh is a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  He has admitting privileges at Lake Pointe Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall.  In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with his family.
